Cold-formed composite aluminum sheet

Cold-formed composite aluminum sheet, also known as cold-punched aluminum or cold-formed aluminum foil, is a material mainly used for pharmaceutical packaging. This material is widely used in fields requiring high sealing and moisture resistance, especially in pharmaceutical blister packaging, due to its excellent barrier properties and mechanical strength.

It overcomes the shortcomings of conventional pharmaceutical PVC sheet, PVC/PVDC sheet, PVC/PE/PVDC sheet, and PP sheet in terms of moisture resistance, air barrier, light protection, and thermal stability. It is a high-end pharmaceutical packaging blister material that can isolate various gases and block light radiation, and can effectively extend the shelf life of drugs.

The product has stable performance and can protect drugs with high moisture-proof requirements under tropical conditions. It is suitable for drug protective packaging under different climatic conditions. The product has a gorgeous silver-gray metallic luster on the surface, which can increase the added value of drugs.

Cold Formed Aluminum Foil

Cold structure specifications:

PA/AL/PVC, commonly used thickness is 0.14-0.155mm, and weighs about 240-280 grams per square meter.

Usage characteristics:

1. It can directly contact drugs and food, and is tailor-made for low-density drugs. It has strong sealing performance and can be used as a solution for drug packaging in different forms;

2. It has excellent properties of light protection, moisture resistance, oxidation resistance, and isolation of gas infiltration;

3. It can be used as a drug packaging material in extreme (high and low temperature) environments;

4. High strength, the aluminum foil layer provides excellent mechanical strength, can withstand cold stamping molding process, and is not easy to break.

5. Safe and hygienic, non-toxic and odorless, aluminum foil is environmentally friendly and recyclable.

Main applications:

Inner packaging of tablets, powders, capsules, gels, freeze-dried products, disposable medical devices, diagnostic equipment, cosmetics, and packaging for other purposes.
