3003 aluminum plate is a typical Al-Mn alloy. This material has good formability, very good corrosion resistance and weldability, and its strength is about 10% higher than that of 1100. For processing parts that require good formability, high corrosion resistance, good weldability, or work that requires both these properties and higher strength than 1XXX series alloys.
