PVC film coated aluminum strip
The concept of "alloy number" in PVC film coated aluminum strip usually refers to the alloy type of aluminum strip or aluminum foil. However, it should be noted that the PVC film itself does not contain alloy components, it is mainly made of polyvinyl chloride resin.
PVC film coated aluminum strip is a composite material with a layer of PVC film on the surface of aluminum strip. Such materials usually have the following characteristics and applications:
Corrosion resistance: PVC film provides an additional protective layer, which can effectively prevent oxidation and corrosion of aluminum strip in humid, acidic and alkaline environments.
Insulation: PVC film has good insulation properties, so coated aluminum strip is suitable for electrical and electronic fields.
Beautiful appearance: PVC coating can increase the color selection of aluminum strip, making its surface smoother and having a certain aesthetics.
Wear resistance: The added PVC layer helps to improve the wear resistance of aluminum strip and extend its service life.
PVC film coated aluminum strip alloy number:
Common aluminum alloys include 1 series, 3 series, 5 series, 6 series, 7 series, etc. Among them: In the construction field, it may be necessary to choose 1 series or 3 series aluminum alloys with good corrosion resistance and ductility; while in the automotive field, it may be necessary to choose 6 series aluminum alloys with higher strength and processing performance. The following are the commonly used alloy numbers for cabins:
1 series aluminum alloys (such as 1050, 1060, etc.) have good ductility and corrosion resistance, and are often used in situations requiring higher flexibility and corrosion resistance.
3 series aluminum alloys (such as 3003, etc.) have higher strength and corrosion resistance, and are often used in situations requiring certain strength and corrosion resistance.
5 series aluminum alloys (such as 5052, etc.) have excellent corrosion resistance, weldability and medium strength, and are often used in situations requiring higher corrosion resistance and welding performance.
6 series aluminum alloys (such as 6061, etc.) have higher strength and good processing performance, and are often used in situations requiring higher strength and processing performance.
7 series aluminum alloys (such as 7075, etc.) are aluminum-zinc-magnesium-copper alloys with high strength but poor corrosion resistance, and are often used in high-performance requirements such as aerospace.

The production process of PVC film coated aluminum strip usually includes the following steps:
1.Aluminum strip pretreatment: The aluminum strip is cleaned, degreased, and rusted to ensure that its surface is clean and smooth.
2.PVC film preparation: PVC resin, plasticizer, stabilizer and other raw materials are mixed evenly and extruded into a film through an extruder.
3.Coating and curing: The PVC film is coated on the surface of the aluminum strip, and then cured by heating to make the PVC film and the aluminum strip closely bonded.
4.Subsequent processing: Cutting, winding, packaging and other subsequent processing are carried out according to needs.
