3 Series Aluminum circle China Manufacturer

3-series aluminum circles are primarily made from 3××× series aluminum alloys, also known as Al-Mn (Aluminum-Manganese) alloys. Representative grades include 3003 and 3105, which are known for their excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and moderate strength. Because of these characteristics, 3-series aluminum circles are widely used in various industries. They are commonly found in hardware electrical enclosures, lighting utensils, cookware manufacturing, and are also used in wind turbine blades, engine radiators, and electric kettle heat conduction chassis.

Core Advantages of 3-Series Aluminum circles

✔ Strong Corrosion Resistance: The presence of manganese enhances the oxidation and rust resistance, making it ideal for humid or acidic/alkaline environments.

✔ Excellent Processability: Easy to stamp, stretch, and perform deep processing, making it suitable for various manufacturing techniques.

✔ Moderate Strength: Compared to 1-series pure aluminum, 3-series aluminum alloys offer higher mechanical strength while maintaining good ductility.

✔ Superior Thermal Conductivity: Makes it an ideal choice for kitchen cookware, electronic heat dissipation components, and heating sheets.

Application Fields of 3-Series Aluminum circles

With its outstanding properties, 3-series aluminum circles play a crucial role in multiple industries, including but not limited to:

(1)Cookware Industry

3003 aluminum circles are commonly used in the production of pots, frying pans, and cookware bases. Their superior thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance ensure durability while enhancing cooking efficiency.

(2)Electrical Appliance Industry

3-series aluminum circles are widely applied in household appliances such as rice cookers and water heaters for their heating sheets, ensuring uniform heat distribution and improving product performance.

(3)Lighting Industry

Due to their good reflectivity and lightweight characteristics, 3-series aluminum circles are used in the manufacture of lampshades and reflector sheets, improving lighting efficiency while reducing the overall weight of the fixtures.

(4)Packaging Industry

3003 aluminum circles are commonly used in food and pharmaceutical packaging, such as aluminum can lids and sealing sheets, ensuring product safety and airtightness.

Production Process of 3-Series Aluminum circles

(1) Raw Material Preparation

The primary raw materials for 3-series aluminum circles are 3003 and 3105 aluminum alloy sheets, mainly composed of Aluminum (Al), Manganese (Mn), and a small amount of Magnesium (Mg). The manganese content (Mn) typically ranges between 1.0%-1.5%, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and optimal strength.

(2) Casting and Rolling or Hot Rolling Process

The aluminum ingots undergo melting, casting rolling, or hot rolling to form aluminum sheets. The process includes two major techniques:

✅ Casting & Rolling Process: Suitable for thin aluminum sheets, offering high efficiency and low cost, ideal for general applications.

✅ Hot Rolling Process: Produces aluminum sheets with more uniform grain structures, higher strength, and better ductility, making them suitable for high-end aluminum disc products.

(3) Cold Rolling & Annealing

After hot rolling or casting, aluminum sheets undergo cold rolling to further reduce thickness and adjust mechanical properties. Annealing treatment is also applied to enhance flexibility for easier stamping and processing.

(4) Aluminum Disc Forming Process

(4-1) Stamping and Cutting

High-precision CNC stamping or cutting equipment is used to process aluminum sheets into specific-sized circles.

(4-2) Surface Treatment

Depending on application requirements, aluminum circles may undergo different surface treatments:

Anodizing: Enhances corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Brushed Finish: Improves surface texture, often used for high-end electrical appliances and cookware.

Coating & Spraying: For example, non-stick pan coatings to enhance functionality.

(5) Quality Inspection & Packaging

High-quality 3-series aluminum circles must undergo strict quality testing, including:

✔ Dimensional Inspection: Ensuring diameter and thickness tolerances meet industry standards.

✔ Surface Quality Inspection: Checking for scratches, oxidation spots, and other defects.

✔ Mechanical Performance Testing: Evaluating hardness, tensile strength, and elongation properties.

✔ Corrosion Resistance Testing: Verifying material stability in humid and high-temperature environments.

After passing the quality control procedures, the aluminum circles are packaged with moisture-proof and shock-resistant materials to ensure safe transportation.
